At i play., Inc. we’re lucky to have our company headquarters in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina, with the French Broad River our faithful, scenic backdrop. At lunch, and on our company walks–you can see us enjoying the sunshine, en masse, at 2:45 every work day–we take in the beauty of the river and the nature that surrounds us. Right now there are geese and ducks ushering their little babies along, and we see them growing bigger every day.
Last week, we had a chance to give back to the river by participating in the RiverLink cleanup; an initiative we jump on every time it comes around, twice a year. After donning our vests and gloves and armed with trash pickers, we did our part to help beautify the river and surrounding park that gives us so much in return.
Thanks to all who participated and to i play., Inc. for encouraging us to take off early and work together in the sunshine!

Emi and Katie here to tell you about our recent trip to London to attend the 2012 Natural Products Europe show. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed introducing i play. and green sprouts products to our friends across the pond. Natural & Organic Products Europe showcases the best in natural, organic, Fairtrade, sustainable and ethical healthy living products, and we were thrilled to be a part of the festivities. This year there were 600 exhibitors and a total of 7,352 attendees from 78 countries!

As part of the New Vendor Showcase, we introduced our Disposable Compressed Wipes. Have you seen them? They come in a travel tube made from plant-based materials that you can pop in your bag or pocket with 10 compressed wipes inside. (Refill packs with 30 wipes are also available.) Simply add a little water to a compressed wipe, and–magic!–it unfolds into a nice absorbent wipe that’s gentle on baby’s skin. They’re super cool, easy to use, and are free from alcohol, harsh chemicals, and perfumes. Just good, clean fun!
